A coming soon page with email signup, made with AI

The best time to start collecting an audience is before you have anything to sell. A coming soon page with a signup form turns "I will tell people when it is ready" into a list of people who asked to be told.

What goes on the page

  • What is coming, in one sentence, and for whom.
  • Why it matters to the visitor: two or three concrete benefits.
  • When, even roughly: "Opening in spring".
  • The signup form: an email field and one button.
  • Proof, if you have it: a photo of the product, a sketch, your story.
  • Social links, for those who prefer to follow there.

The signup form needs a service

A static page cannot store email addresses. Newsletter services do it and give you the form: Mailchimp, MailerLite, Kit and Buttondown are common choices. Create a list, open the form builder, and copy the embed code or the form's address.

Add an email signup to the first screen with this MailerLite form code. Style it like the rest of the page: one field and a button "Notify me". After signing up, show a thank-you message without leaving the page.

Do it properly

  • Double opt-in: the service sends a confirmation email, and only confirmed addresses join the list. Fewer fake addresses, and in many countries it is the expected practice.
  • Say what people get: "One email when we open, nothing else" converts better than a vague "subscribe to updates", and it is a promise to keep.
  • Mention privacy: who stores the addresses and how to unsubscribe.

The request for the whole page

Make a coming soon page for PRODUCT: headline, one line about who it is for, three benefits, "Opening in MONTH", the signup form, Instagram link. Full-screen, calm, works on phones. Add Open Graph tags so the link looks good in messengers.

Share it

Put the link in your profiles, send it to friends, print it on flyers with a QR code. Every signup is someone to write to on launch day.

Launch day

When the real site is ready, publish it to the same site: "update the website" with the new files. The address stays the same, so every link, post and flyer now leads to the full site. Then send the email your subscribers were waiting for.

To make the shared link look good, see link previews in Telegram and WhatsApp.

Your AI agent made a website? Let it publish it. Plans start at €7 a month, and the first 14 days are free, no card needed.
