A business card website with AI in one evening: a step-by-step guide
A business card website is one page that answers three questions: who you are, what you offer and how to reach you. It is the simplest useful website there is, and an AI agent can make one with you in an evening.
What to put on the page
- Your name and what you do, in one line.
- Your services, a sentence each, with prices if you want to show them.
- Why you: experience, photos of your work, real reviews.
- Where and when: the area you cover or your address, and working hours.
- Contacts: phone, WhatsApp or Telegram, email.
Write these down as plain text before you start. The agent writes the page, but the facts have to come from you.
Step 1. Describe the page
Write the request the way you would brief a designer. For example:
Make a one-page website for my business. I am Anna, a piano teacher in Valencia. Lessons for children and adults, at my studio or online. Sections: a short intro with my photo, lessons and prices, how a first lesson goes, three reviews from parents, contacts. Calm, warm colours, large readable text, works well on phones. The main button opens WhatsApp.
A few tips:
- One main action. Call, message or book — pick one and make it the big button.
- Say "works well on phones". Most visitors will come from a phone.
- Photos. Put yours in the folder, or ask for placeholders and replace them later.
Step 2. Make the contacts clickable
Ask the agent to use links that open the right app:
- phone: a
tel:link — tapping it on a phone starts a call; - WhatsApp:
https://wa.me/followed by your number in international format; - Telegram:
https://t.me/followed by your username; - email: a
mailto:link.
Step 3. Read it before publishing
Open index.html in your browser and read every line. Agents sometimes fill gaps with invented details: a price, an address, a review. Remove anything you did not give it. Reviews in particular must be real.
Step 4. Publish
Connect your agent to aiput.site once — here is how — and say:
Publish this website.
You get a link. Put it in your messenger profile, your Google Business Profile and your email signature. Then open it on your phone and tap every contact button.
Keeping it up to date
New prices or holiday hours? Tell the agent what changed and say "update the website". The address stays the same, so every link you have shared keeps working.
Wondering whether a website builder would be better? Website builder or AI agent compares the two.
